Class Outline:

Bring the whole family along for a creative Christmas pottery session and spend 1.5 hours making your own festive decorations from clay! Suitable for ages 6+, this hands-on workshop is a chance for children and grown-ups to get creative together, with no previous pottery experience needed.

You’ll learn some simple pottery techniques and make your own collection of Christmas ornaments, tree decorations and festive trinkets. Experiment with different shapes, stamps and texture tools to add patterns and details, or let your imagination take the lead and create something completely your own.

Once your pieces are made, you’ll have a selection of colourful underglazes to decorate them with. Add festive colours, paint your own designs or keep things simple — there’s no right or wrong way to make them.

We’ll take care of the glazing and firing after the workshop, so your finished creations will be ready to hang on the tree or display at home in time for Christmas. Pieces will be available to collect approximately three weeks after the workshop.

A fun, hands-on activity for families looking to make something together, get creative with clay and take home some truly personal Christmas decorations.
