Step into a slower, storybook-inspired evening of making with our Cottage-Core Clay Houses workshop! A cosy hand-building class centred around charm, texture and imagination. In this relaxed summer session, you’ll create your own miniature ceramic cottage using simple sculpting techniques, shaping everything from wonky rooftops and tiny windows to chimney pots, doors and decorative details by hand.
Inspired by cottage-core aesthetics, woodland homes and whimsical village scenes, this workshop encourages playful, imperfect making and creative freedom. You might create a rustic countryside cottage, a tiny fairytale house, or a more minimal sculptural form, with plenty of opportunity to personalise your piece through texture, carving and surface decoration with underglaze paints.
Perfect for beginners and returning makers alike, the class offers a calm atmosphere with guidance throughout the process. Feel free to bring a bottle along and settle into a creative session.
Your finished clay house will be glazed, fired and ready for collection within 3-4 weeks.
